Each guest pass gives the recipient full access to Claude for seven days at no cost. Your guest passes are available for a limited time, so share them before they expire.
Who is eligible to send guest passes?
Guest passes are currently available to Max subscribers only. If you're eligible, you'll see a notification about your available guest passes when you start a Claude Code session, or you can check your passes in the "Claude Code" tab in your Claude settings.
How do I send a guest pass?
View your available guest passes in Claude Code (using the /passes command) or in your Claude settings under "Claude Code."
Copy your unique referral link to share with friends, family, or colleagues.
Send the link via email, message, or any communication method you prefer.
Track your remaining guest passes and their redemption status in Claude Code or your Claude settings.
You have a limited number of guest passes that expire, so share them while you can. If you share your referral with more friends than you have guest passes, redemption of the guest passes will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
What does my referral get?
When someone uses your guest pass link, they'll receive:
Seven days of free access to Claude's Pro plan, which includes Claude Code
Simple signup process with guided installation
Referral recipients must be new to Claude paid subscriptions. They'll need to enter their payment information when signing up, but won't be charged unless they continue using Claude after the end of their seven-day trial.
What happens after I've sent all my guest passes?
Once all your guest passes have been redeemed or they expire (whichever comes first), you won't be able to send additional passes. You can monitor the status of your passes—including how many are still available and which have been redeemed—in your referral dashboard.
Terms and Conditions
A limited number of guest passes are available to Max subscribers only. Once your guest passes are used, they can no longer be redeemed.
Each guest pass provides the recipient with a 7-day free trial of Claude.ai’s Pro plan, which includes Claude Code. Recipients must not have a previous Claude subscription history (on any Claude product) and must enter payment information to activate their trial. Each free trial will automatically convert to a paid pro plan at the end of the free trial period unless the recipient cancels before then. Passes have no cash value and are non-transferable. Offer availability and terms are subject to change.
You will receive a certain amount of overage credit once your referee converts to a paid user. These credits have no cash value and are non-transferable. They expire 1 year from the date of issuance. If the referrer downgrades to the Free tier, their credits will also become void. By participating in the guest pass program, referrers agree to parameters for extra usage as explained in our Help Center.
