Connect Shop Pay, Shopify's wallet, to Claude Duet so it can pay for purchases you approve.
Shop Pay is available in Claude Duet, a research preview for Pro and Max plans in the US. It isn't available in Claude, Cowork, or Claude Code for now.
Shop Pay is separate from the Shopify connector, which lets Claude work in your Shopify store. You can use either one without the other.
What you can do
Approve every purchase. Claude Duet is designed to ask before each purchase.
Pay with a one-time card. Each purchase uses a one-time card that only works for that purchase.
How to connect
Shop Pay isn't listed in the connectors directory. You connect it in Claude Duet.
Select your avatar in Claude Duet.
Select the option to connect payments, then choose Shop Pay, or select from the recommended connectors list on mobile.
Sign in to your Shop Pay account and approve access.
Claude Duet also suggests connecting Shop Pay when you ask for something that needs a payment.
Claude Duet can see the card type, last four digits of your card or bank account, nickname and expiration date of your saved payment methods, plus your shipping addresses. Claude isn’t given your full credit card number (PAN) or bank account number.
How to pay with Shop Pay
Ask Claude Duet for what you need, like "Order more shipping labels, same as last time."
Claude Duet finds the item and asks you to approve the purchase.
Click “Review in Shop Pay,” then approve the purchase.
Claude Duet pays with Shop Pay using a one-time card that is scoped to the approved amount.
Current limitations
Shop Pay is available only in Claude Duet, on Pro and Max plans in the US.
Some sites can block Claude Duet from paying. If that happens, you may need to finish the purchase yourself.

Is Shop Pay the same as the Shopify connector?
No. The Shopify connector lets Claude work in your Shopify store, for example to manage products and orders. Shop Pay pays for purchases. You connect them separately.
Who do I contact about a charge, a refund, or a problem with a purchase?
The store you bought from handles refunds, returns, and problems with an order. Contact the store directly. For questions about your Shop Pay account or a charge, contact Shop support. For problems with Claude Duet itself, tell Claude Duet what happened in the chat and it passes your report to our team.
How do I disconnect Shop Pay?
In Claude Duet, select your Claude Duet avatar.
Select payments, then choose Shop Pay.
Select "Disconnect".
