To use the Claude API and the playground, add usage credits to your organization's balance. You’ll need to fill out some additional information about your organization and use case. Then, you’ll enter your payment details and fund your account.
Claude Max and Team plans include monthly credits for the Claude API. If you’re a Max subscriber or a Team plan owner, you can link this Console organization to your plan to claim them. No payment method is needed to claim or use the credits. Learn more about monthly API credits for Max and Team plans.
Once you’ve purchased usage credits for your account, you’re ready to use the API in your commercial application. You can find more information on prepaid billing and credits here.
