How do I install the Claude for iOS app?
You can install the Claude app onto your iOS device by navigating to the App Store and searching for “Claude by Anthropic”, or by navigating directly to our App Store listing. Click on “Get” from the app listing to prompt your download.
Which Claude app should I install?
Anthropic has two Claude apps on the App Store:
Claude by Anthropic is the standard Claude app.
Claude for Intune is a managed version of Claude for iOS for Enterprise plans that use Microsoft Intune.
If your organization hasn't asked you to use Claude for Intune, install Claude by Anthropic.
Note: If your organization uses Microsoft Intune, it may require you to use Claude for Intune instead of the standard Claude app. Check with your IT team before you install. Admins can learn more in Set up Claude for Intune.
Why can’t I find Claude for iOS in the App Store?
If you’re unable to locate Claude for iOS or Claude for Intune in your App Store, you may be located in an unsupported region, using an unsupported device, or using an unsupported version of iOS.
If your organization requires Claude for Intune and you can't find it, contact your IT administrator.
What versions of iOS are supported?
We currently support iOS version 18.0 and above, and iPadOS 18.0 and above. This applies to both the standard Claude app and Claude for Intune.
How do I uninstall the Claude for iOS app?
To uninstall the Claude for iOS from your device, hold down on the app from your home screen until you see the menu options. Click on “Remove App.” From the next series of options, select “Delete App.”
Note that if you have an active paid Claude subscription and would like to uninstall the app, your subscription will not be automatically canceled. To cancel your subscription follow the instructions here: Cancel your Pro or Max subscription.
