Claude Science is Anthropic's desktop app for scientific research, currently in beta.
Claude Science is available in beta for Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans; on Team and Enterprise plans, an Owner or Primary Owner must first turn it on in Organization settings > Claude Science.
The Claude Science app runs on macOS 13 or later, and Linux x64.
Claude Science pairs Claude with a research and analysis environment on your computer: you describe a research task in plain language, and Claude writes and runs code in a sandbox, reads the folders you give it, pulls data from scientific databases through connectors, connects to your own compute clusters, performs long data analyses, and saves results as versioned artifacts with a full provenance record.
